I'm getting the cervini concept ram air hood. I noticed I can also get the ram air kit for it. Do you guys know if the whipple supercharger relocates the air box? Do you think this kit with the hood i'm getting will work with the whipple or should I not bother?

Not sure why you are highlighting my note. I know it wont work with superchargers that relocate the airbox. My question is will the Whipple supercharger relocate the airbox or does it leave it alone? Apparently some superchargers do relocate the airbox and some dont.

um... yes it does relocate it.

Saleen supercharger does not.

The ram kit will do nothing, Zero, Nada on a supercharged engine, the blower is putting 10PSI into your intake, no way a ram kit can come even close to that, not to mention that in order for the ram intake to be effective it will have to pick up the air and push it directly into your engine air intake wich would imply a lot of plumbing, In the best scenario it'll work only at very high speeds (on a NA engine) and only if its a hell of a good design

the only thing i would add, is that if
you're gonna get the whipple AND a custome
hood, make sure you won't have any clearance issues.

Shouldn't be clearance issues. It's certainly not any lower than stock and you actually have a bit more room due to the scoops.
