how bout sell the mustang for a mustang GT vert, put the mods you have on your coupe in the vert and you should be set...that way you get the same performance while keeping a daily driver

I'm certain you will regret it. Sell the Focus! Have you considered a v6Mustang for a daily driver?
Pat
+1 V6 Daily driver.

My V6 does 190 miles a day during the week.

Sometimes more on the weekends. LOL

I thought about the Focus, etc... and figured if I'm gonna spend 3 hrs+ a day driving, I'm gonna damn well enjoy it!

Lose the focus (no pun intended) and get a V6 vert!

Keep the mustang and buy a motorcycle... great on gas mileage, easy to park. Its always a "convertible"

sell the focuse, get the vert. Not too many people are lucky enough to say ya i own 2 beautiful mustangs. Don't worry about gas, parking etc. You only live once so might as well have as much fun with what your driving as possible.

+1 on selling the focus for a v6 vert stang. It's an awesome daily driver and it's fun, before you know it you mightbe modding it as well.

This sounds like a no-brainer to me; keep the Focus, sell the Mustang and buy a Mustang vert. While you may be attached to your current 'stang, once you get the new one and start modding it you'll bond with it too. The Focus sounds like the perfect bang-around daily driver and parts getter, it's worth hanging onto considering you won't get squat for it if you sell it.
Why not return coupe stang to stock and put all mods on new vert. I also prefer the coupe look to the vert 90% of the time. Too many old women and fat chicks drive verts soooooooo transfer your mods. Of course you'll have to pay for that but may save a lot if you can do it yourself.

+ 2 You only live once. Keep the mustang if money is not a problem, and get a hard top vet.. something like the new Mazda . Nice car I am looking at it myself.

I had a Focus ZX3, before my 2005 V6 Mustang. Sell the focus by a V6 vert, as a daily driver it is the way to go. Focus' are ok but day in and day out driving long distances not so fun. I drive approximately 1000-1500 a week, and don't regret my decision.

Sell the Focus, buy a vert of any make.

I find my Coupe to be a very practical daily driver. It doeseverything well. The only gripe is you can't just throw people in the back without getting out, moving seats, waiting for them to climb in and settle in..... But how often is that?Nearly never.

A big plus to dailiy driving the S197 is that because it does everything so well, it is a very satsfying drive. You can downshift and open the throttle when you need to move out, or just entertain yourself. It will put a much bigger smile on your face than a Focus. And if you want a vert, get another American made toy.
