Default Safe to use 1pc driveshaft w/torque limiters?

Ok Ive always been under the impression that you need some 'slack' in your engine/drivetrain in order to stop from stressing parts too much.

With torque limiters, you end up connecting the tranny to the frame of the car and making it much harder to vibrate when the engine sends power to it. If one were to install a 1pc driveshaft after the tranny... It would take even more 'padding' away from the tranny's ability to move and expend extra power.

Can this be bad? Or am I dreaming and should just get the DS?
