An aquaintance bought a shelby convertible and immediately took the tires off of it and put on some bridgestones on it because he hates goodyear for some reason. He told me that he would sell me the tires he took off for 100 dollars each. I have been looking at some knock off rims that look like the shelby rims but I don't know if I can put the same size of rims and tires on my gt without any trouble. Can anyone help? If so, I know the shelby has 18 inch rims but what is the other measurement like 8.5 or 9.0.

should bolt up with no problem. Granted the suspension is different, but the clearances are all the same between the GT and GT500. So, buying reproductions and those tires should fit perfect. I think you can get away with up to 9" wide on the front, but I'm not sure. I know 10" will fit the rear though.

i have 18X9 up front and 18X10 in rear. No issues at all. You will be fine

Thanks.Do you thinkthose tires worth 100 each. They only have 7 miles on them, but the owner said he hated those tires but didn't say why.
