Default h.i.d's blinking

well i installed my hids the other day and all was ok, and now I turned them on and one was blinking like a strobe and the other was out. Does anyone know what it is.

I bought them from stang mods.

What year is your stang? On the 2007 the computer when no registering the light bulbs current sends this pulse signal that makes your HID blink like Strobes, you would need to buy a 60-100W resistor per sideor connect them to your high beams or parking lights with a relay.

Hope this helps.

yup, it happen to me the same way.. it takes around one day to start blinking.. no big deal just connect them to your parking lights with a relay.. they will work fine... or buy this resistors.. i was told by the shop where I got the HId that it would be some how hard to find them.I have not looked for them been that after the relay was install it has been workingfine. Now you will loose the ability of driving with your fogs lights on only been that they will be connected to your parkings.. but i also got HID on the fogs and drive with all 4 at onces.

Picture attached

Yes, you should be avail to.. Just make sure you plug them to the parking lights or fog lights.. if you plug them to the low beams you will have the same problem..

GOOD LUCK
