So does that install mean no radio,no cds etc???? What does that thing actually do? I am new to all this technology in cars. I still use something called a Map.
"See this radio here? It's even got AM!"

Hehe...And your comment about the Map makes me think of this oil commercial, with a dog as the anti-theft device and "2D Navigation system", aka an old AAA road map...

well i didnt install it i got it done somewhere, best part is my friends are DJ's so they go to www.promoonly.com and they order music videos made by professionals like 60 on a dvd very very high audio and visual quality, I must say this unit especially with my all my lights being 6000K HID really Turn heads at night. I love this unit, very easy to operate and i upgraded the front 6x 8 with infintys and the rears with alpines, absolute HEAVEN

How do you guys with the Pioneer like the interface on the unit? I've seen some older models and it wasnt very user friendly (couldn't change map settings while driving, system would 'crash' often, etc). I've used the Magellan Roadmate and am considering either upgrading to another handheld device, or getting the Pioneer installed.

With the z1 there is a easy bypass that allows you to have full functunality while driving....i have never had any problems and it is simple to use.....the bluetooth, IPOD, and XM are great and not having to worry about nav disks is even better! I can store 10 gigs of music on the HD also....the features are endless
