I would think that there are more than 10,000 stangs built in a year, so it's probably the last six digits...
Although I did see a Saleen S281 with a 4 digit number printed in the same lettering and location that you have. so who knows?

Well, mine is 252549, so.......... there were over a quarter million GT's built in '06 ? I know my Stang was built on 5/11/06, late in the model year, but, I don't know how this adds up ?
If it's the last 4 #'s, only 2549 GT's built in '06? That doesn't make sense either.
I'd think 52,549 GT'smight be believable, but, definitely something isn't right here, by the #'s.
