The hood on my car is bulging on the passenger side from what i think is the hydrolic hood lifts that were installed prior to my purchase.See the picture below.What can I do to correct this? Remove the hydrolic lifts? Adjust them??

I would guess you'll have to remove the. Do you know what brand they are?

Is that hood Fiberglass? If so this is not the first time i have seen this happen. Not sure what or why but the combo of the Fiberglass hood and the hood struts seems to bow the hood.

it is mostly fiberglass yes.

My buddy had to go back to the old hood prop when he changed to a fiber glass hood.
