Other than color scheme, your 06 doesn't/won't look like the 01. And honestly anyone who needs to know it's a M U S T A N G already does and doesn't need the identification that that's what it is, on the side of the car. You have a GT! 300hp and "rumble". ...no side stripes, besides, maybe it was the stripes that caused the 01 to get wrecked. ...bad omen, leave them off. [:'(]

I'm 6'3" and never hit my leg on that lever, I have however whacked my shin on the dash around the headlight switch when getting in quickly. That hurt like a ****. Left a bruise and scabbed over for a couple weeks!
