RE: Musty smell
Wow, they found it fast. The black trim that goes over the window, that annoying seal that pops out a little on a few cars I've seen already. The leak guy at my dealership found it within an hour. They replaced the padding to see if that takes the smell away. If not in a week or 2, I will be getting a new carpet. Even though its still clean, a new one wouldn't be that bad. I'm actually proud of Ford for finding it on the first trip that fast. lol

RE: Musty smell
The first time it was along the firewall/kick panel, second time it was somewhere in the same area...third time we (I stood and watched the entire time) put water over the car for over an hour and a half and couldn't get it to leak.....

RE: Musty smell
I had the leak problem twice, Third time back to the dealership and cried when i saw them tear apart my car, Pass fender, hood, wiper cowls, battery, front fender liner, tire......All i can say is there is a tsb on the leak and ford knows about it. The leak is where the Window Frame Meets The Fire Wall. The Seam where the two meet is lacking seam sealant! The dealership could not find the leak by pouring buckets of water over the car! I bet a million bucks if they take the wiper cowel off they will see where the gaps are in the factory seam welds. Have them spray water from a hose along the seam i described above and have someone sit in the car looking under the glove box. You will see where the water drips all over the place. This is why when the dealership pours water over the car no leak will be detected, but after driving in the rain for about an hour the water appears on your floor! As you are driving the cabin pressure is different than outside the car and causes the water to suck into the cabin! Instant leak! Hope this helps!
