I know the thread on the leaking and electrical problems. But I have the smell somewhere in the car w/ not electrical problems yet. I smelled the carpet up by the passenger side and it smells normal. Is there other areas to check? I am gonna have it taken to the dealership tomorrow because they have a leak checker guy that comes in on Fridays. Hopefully he finds it because its starting to smell bad. I took the rear side panels off to see if it was coming through my louvers, but I soaked the shiat out of it with the hose and no sign of water came in. Any other ideas?

I get a weird smell with the A/C on... Its sort of like a "new" smell, whether it has to do with something being new like the car or the a/c (though im almost at 12K miles)

I don tmind though, a/c works ice cold.

yeah, well that was my problem. I though it was my dirty sneakers but when I started sniffing around the carI realized it was my sweaty *****.

I had the musty smell only when I used the A/C or defrost, Apparantly, the system can develop fungus or something like thatand canbe disinfected with some sort of spray.

Unfortunately, it sounds like yours may be related to a leak somewhere. Hope you get it taken care of.
