Default MTA Red rear interior panels

I alway wanted to cover the rear panels in a red perforated material to match the front doors. MTAS did it on another forum and he did a great write up. It looks phenomenal. I can't wait to do this mod. Thanks David!!

I copied it to my web site, here's a link:

Nice mod but it looks like it requires a bit of skill to get just right.

I'm about to give it a try. I tried to get an estimate from two interior shops in LI. They both said it would be simple but they had to try to find the material first. After a few weeks and a few calls they never got back to me. I guess the job is too small for them. MTAS put a link in his write up fro the material. It wasn't that expensive, only about $20.

I think this mod would be much more noticeable in a convertible because that rear panel is so much larger. The other tricky thng about it is the speaker. I'm going to have to cut the material around the speaker grill.

THats some nice vinyl product. Someone with black seats could easily use that vinyl to make the middle section of their seats red. Cut it to size and hand-held sew it with the seat in place.

Interesting...
