What are the benifits with long tubes and an x-pipe. I guess what Im trying to say is that Im going to install a blower (unknown right now which one) in January-February. I want some HP numbers now and was going to get long tubes/Xpipe installed. Would this be a wast of money when I get the blower or will it still give me an additional 25 HP on top of the blower?.

imo, do the s/c first, then tinker around
with stuff like headers and exhaust if you
wish. it will be nice to have a near stock
vehicle to have as a known good reference,
when you install the main power adder

the x-pipe adds only a few HP. H-pipes have a deeper sound . for those trying to squeeze every Hp out of their mods get the x-pipe. th long tubes will give you more HP ~20ish. since you are getting blown make sure you get 1 3/4" pipes not 1 5/8".

Having bigger pipes when being blown results in greater discharge! [&:] Seriously, Long Tubes with X pipe are fantastic! Great sound, and a much less restricted air flow.
