Ok ( wiping tears) Today i was at lunch and stopped at a WaWa for a soda and snack. As i was leaving I followed 3 guys out the door and as i was walking behind them i heard them talking about my car ( they were parked right beside me). 2 of them said wow nice car, the other 1 said, clean but too slow!...............Excuse me (i thought to myself). I juiced it a little on the start up and dropped the tinted windows just enough so i could look over at the driver eye to eye! I glanced down the side of his car and saw it was a 96-ish pontiac trans-am Ram air with a ws6 package. I pull out and he follows me, about 6 car lengths behind me. I look ahead and there is nothing in front of me, a 2 lane highway(buisness district). I am going around 40 and decided to punch it. It felt good........it felt fast......i looked down and was doing around 80 and still pulling......... but i guess not as much as him......he flew bye me like i was sitting still! I get to the next light and he is sitting there waiting for me. The light turned green and we both sat there waiting for the other one to make a move. IT TURNED RED AGAIN. I said to myself, If nothing else get him off the line and be happy with that! I power braked it to around 2500 rpms and waited .....the light turned green and i side stepped the brake and .................smoked them up....kept up with him for about the first 1/8 and then he was gone! i looked down andsaw i hit around 95mph and just let off and let her coast to an embarassing stop. If nothing else i learned one thing, dont mess unless you know whatyou are up against! Time for a box of tissues and some MODS!

Dood... I floor it everyday just to keep up with traffic! Trucks, regular cars, everything seems to beat me. They arent even racing, its just regular traffic!

Its embarassing to slam through the gears and go up to 4500rpms lol just to stay with traffic.

Anyways, love you car and understand speed is only half the story. Its about people thinking its cool and you modifying it. Due to its slow speed, i decided to heavily mod the suspension so I can have fun that way. Theres more to it than speed!

I really think that i am just gonna be the COOL SLOW POKE around town from now on! I cant see trying to prove a point by trying to beat something, no matter how crappy or how good their car looks or sounds. When i first got the car i almost lost to a POS ford escort hatchback! Good Lord......i think i would have just taken the car back to ford if i lost to that car! Why beat up on the car, esp on the streets, next time it will be at ATCO! after mods!
