I will be relocating to the Los Angeles County area (Palmdale, Lancaster, Rosamond, Quartz Hill) in a couple weeks. Does anyone know of some shops in the area that carry mod parts or provide custom work to Mustangs? Any help you can provide is much appreciated!

Haha, I am not in the Air Force and I just completed 10 years of Army service. I work for NASA and will be working out of EAFB..... just curious as to what all is around there so I can continue building and tinkering. The internet orders are always an open option but sometimes its nice to take a short drive and pick things up for yourself (and talk directly with the distributors).

Not much up around there, as far as I'm aware. There are a few shops in the Los Angeles area an hour to the south. Galpin Ford is in the San Fernando Valley.
That area is great for long drives through the desert. Nice areas up around Lake Isabella and Tehachapi as well. Welcome to California!

Ahhhhhh the memories you are bringing back. Things like seeing the first car to break the sound barrier. Well, can't really consider it car...lol. Seeing the 1st Space Shuttle landing and seeing it makes its turn for final approach from our backyard.
Sorry I can't help with the info you want though since I was just a kid when I was there. But thanks for the trip down memory lane.
