i have never had a problem up here driving anything i want. they just take a copy of your driver's license before you take off. ( in case you steal it?) i remember the good ole days when the jackass used to ride along..that sucked big time !

but yeah i dont get them sales people at all. you can obviously tell they work on a commission but i cant understand why someone would talk you out of a 2005 for a 2004?

seems the more the car costs the more they make am i right?

I like to keep control. I often use the jedi mind trick on the salespeople, with excellent results.

If you order a 2005 and it don't come in for about 3 to months, he doesn't get his commission until you get it financed and picked up. If you buy a 2004 on the lot, he gets his commission the next pay check. Money now or money later? Besides, they would have to keep track of all the customer orders to make sure they go through as ordered and so forth. With the dealer stock, they don't have to keep such an aggressive monitor, only at their leisure.
