Default Suggestions on rims?

First of all, can I say that you guys have some really cool looking Mustangs!!
With all your taste for detail, I just had to get you opinions in relation to the rims on my mustang.

I bought my 2005 pre-owned 'stang in June 2006. I've had it for a year, and haven't done a thing to it.
I assume that the rims I currently have on the car are factory standard?
Anyways, I've been thinking that I should get bigger and better rims. What do you reckon?? Or do the ones I have now 'do the job'?

If you think the rims should be changed... do you have any suggestions on what I should type of rims they should be changed to?? What sort of price range would I be looking at for the new rims?

I'm a total virgin when it comes to cars, and what 'works'.... so all your advice and input would be much appreciated!

Thanks.

Ask yourself, do you want bling-bling? Light weight high performance wheels? Or reliable, looks great maybe they won't get stolen wheels?
I think some take-off 17" silver bullitt wheels would look great on your car, although chrome wheels look very nice with yellow. With your graphic color I would think some deep dish black with chome lip 18" bullitts would look great, here's a pic.

Yellow cars look good with chrome or black rims. For chrome, you can't beat the Foose Nitrous. For black, look at the AR Razors.

I was going to suggest this, too. I'd have removed that pony the moment I bought the car, but that is just me.

Waxing around that pony decal must be a real PIA. As for wheels 18" deep dish seem to be very popular. Try the search function for wheels, there should be tons of threads with wheels in them.

I'm guessing that he or she likes the pony since they bought a car with it splashed down the side. I personally think it looks horrendous, but thats ok because I like stangs that make mine look good.

My vote goes to chrome.

It will balance the car out.
