Buncha crap?
**Posted in the audio section but thought would do more good to post in specific car section..
So recently I have decided I want to get a pioneer or panasonic, just a double din dvd headunit and started looking around at different audio stores and they are telling me because of the shaker 1000 system I would have to completely redo the car, speakers, subs, wiring, etc all just for a new headunit...I don't have that kinda money..so are they jerkin me or is this really the case? I have never heard of anyone having to do that on these forums.. |
RE: Buncha crap?
I don't know about the Shaker 1000 in our cars specifically, but I know a guy who used to do stereo installs and apparently some makes have pre-amps built into the speakers or something like that.. so depending on the head unit, it may need speakers and amp too.
If it were me, I'd give Crutchfields a call and ask them. |
RE: Buncha crap?
