Really profesional pic! You should send it to Nikon also. Then they could show idiots like me what their cameras can do when someone knows how to operate it![:@]

Try and find a two-lane road where you can shoot car-to-car without disturbing other traffic or having to drive in the opposite lane. Have two cars travelling at the same speed, anywhere from 40-60 mph (or at the speed limit). Sit in the passenger seat and have the other car slightly behind. You can also sit in the trunk if you have a hatchback or van, but you don't get the benefit of the cushion of the seat. It's much more bouncy in the trunk and harder to get a crisp shot. You can shoot on automatic, but you probably won't end up with great results. The best thing to do is to set your camera to manual with a shutter speed anywhere from 1/40 second to 1/80 second. You can start with a faster speed and work your way down to make sure you get crisp shots. Take a few shots and adjust your aperture accordingly. Many times, the background will be lighter than the car and you will need to allow more light into the camera than what it is telling you. Once you have the exposure correct, just shoot away! The more shots you take, the more likely you will be to get a really good one. Sometimes I will shoot anywhere from 100-150, and then pick out the 1 or 2 best ones.
