Default Mass air sensor scrrews

I lost my original screws for the mass air flow, so if I ever need to put the stock airbox back on I am screwed....pardon the pun, Ford tells me they are not available without the mass airflow?
Any idea's?[]

If the above doesnt work, I am pretty sure you can get similar screws at any Autozone or Pepboys.

If you know what they look like it should be easy
to find some replacements. [:@]

Are they metric threads with some sort of tamper resistant torx head
or just plastic tapping screws? I just dont have any idea what they
look like or I could find them.[:'(]

If you could find ONE of them, you could go to a specialty hardware store. I know there's a place here in San Diego that specializes in screws, nuts, & bolts; if you can't find it there, either the guys can refer you to someone who DOES sell it, or the screw doesn't exist.

I lost one of mine out of my V6, and was able to replace it with a standard self tapping screw I got at Lowe's. I actually bought a pack of 6 or so, I have a couple left laying around somewhere.

Of course, a ford technician will see that they aren't the same torx head screws they provide and know you've been messing around, but at least you can run the stock airbox.

So they are torx self tappers. Should be easy to find.
They are on the what again? Mass airflow. V6s have em?

I replaced mine with the chromed racing phillips head upgrades. +6 RWHP on the dyno! Well worth the $39.99 (+S&H) I paid for them.
