Had the Cal Special scoop installed and I put on some door welt (super easy). Hope you like the pics. I threw in a couple extra just for fun. Thanks to TacoBill for instructions on posting.

Thats sweet where did u get the scoop and is there anyway you could measure it for me how wide and how long im getting a saleen s/c in a couple weeks but i had a shaker so im tryin to find a scoop that will cover the hole i have in my hood thanks by the way how is the saleen s/c

I don't think it will cover up the shaker cutout. It's not even as large as the Roush scoop.

The Saleen is real nice. Just feels like a bigger engine under there. Boost starts at just over2000rpm. I'm having it further dyno tuned by JDM next week. Also getting a great deal on ARH LT's and Saleen suspension setup. So, the mods should continue this year.

I love seeing that piping on the dorrs! Wish Ford had put that as an option...along with the 5.4 engine!

The hood scoop isn't a California Special item, but rather a regular GT option. Many California Specials do not have hood scoops, and a ton of regular GT's do have them. Early literature on the California Special suggested the hood scoop was part of the package, but that was changed before production began.

Thanks for the info. At the dealers near me, I've only seen them in the lot on C/S's so I assumed it was part of the package.
