This is just wrong. The police car in the Original Transformers was named Prowler and he was a Autobot.
I mean come on now the Cop Car has to be with the good guys.

I saw in a magazine today that the transformer movie will feature both an autobot and a decepticon s197 (the decepticon is a police unit). I thought it would be cool to have a sticker of one or the another on my car, maybe in the lower right-hand corner of the trunklid...nothing really ostentatious, just something that could be noticed at a light or as you're passing someone.
What does everybody think? Does it sound ghey? I guess if it was left on after everyone had forgotten about the movie it would be, like the no fear stickers and japanese writing stickers are right now ("hey, look at that no fear sticker from like 1995 on that camaro, that's so ghey...")

Richie,
I think it would be alright and original.
I'm going to put an Autobots logo on my hood scoop, nothing too noticeable... maybe like a ghost charcoal (scoop is black). I plan on doing it with vinyl so if I decide that I don't like it, I can always take it off. You'll identify with a lot of Transformers fan, hell I'm going on 30 years old but I grew up loving that cartoon so I consider it a cool flashback idea.
Remember, it's your car... if it looks good to you, fúck what everyone else says.

You can probably get away with putting the "643" on the front passenger bumper like the police car. When people ask what it is you can tell them or if they've seen the film, they will instantly recognize it, especially on a black Saleen Mustang.

first off, your avatar is AWESOME!!!
secondly, I just bought Barricade at Wal-Mart todayand here's his character description off the back of the box:
"Barricade is a born liar. The greatest thrill in his life is knowing people trust him because of the human decorations on his door panels. The look of betrayal they get when they realize what they're dealing with is as sweet as candy. The only thing he likes better is chasing down Autobots and breaking them into pieces with his powerful arms and crushing, hydraulic hands."
So that's why a decepticon is a police car. DECEPTION...
p.s. I'm not sure what to do with this thing now that I bought it...maybe hook-and-loop tape it to the dash or the rear deck or maybe just let my girlfriend's parrots beat it up...I guess I'll bring it to the movie and sit it down next to me (creepy!)...also oops my reply got stuck in the quote box and I don't know how to get it out and too lazy to start over...oh well!

RE: autobots and decepticons
Bad Idea...
There is a "Team Autobot" that is one of the largest Import Car crews (Hondas, Acuras, Etc). They are located across CA. They use the Autobot Sticker on thier cars as an identification logo. I know they have been doing this for years
