I saw in a magazine today that the transformer movie will feature both an autobot and a decepticon s197 (the decepticon is a police unit). I thought it would be cool to have a sticker of one or the another on my car, maybe in the lower right-hand corner of the trunklid...nothing really ostentatious, just something that could be noticed at a light or as you're passing someone.
What does everybody think? Does it sound ghey? I guess if it was left on after everyone had forgotten about the movie it would be, like the no fear stickers and japanese writing stickers are right now ("hey, look at that no fear sticker from like 1995 on that camaro, that's so ghey...")

I love transformers...my generation. However Id have to think hard about doing somthing like that. Maybe like you said just for the summer, depends on the color and all that.

I don't think it's a good idea, but again, do what you want to do.

I am from that Transormers era and I was a fan when I was a kid. I thought it would be a cool movie to go see...just to kind of go back in time a little and experience something from my childhood again. However Michael Bay has absolutely destroyed the enterprise in my opinion. Those things are not Transformers...they are just big alien robots. Optimus Prime as a long-nose rig with flames? Come on. I think the dirty, clunky, rusty robots that smell like diesel fule is a much cooler idea.

Anyway, I am not big on stickers or hokey things like that. Even if I was a fan of the new Transfoermers, I wouldn't associate myself with them....especially with a sticker on my car.

If only you could all see me sneering at this picture. I am a graphic artist, and I would like to think I had a feel for what looks good and what doesn't. The art dept. that designed these things put WAY too many parts into them, and I can't make out what all the parts are supposed to be. It really takes away from the design. All those lines all over the place makes it impossible to tell where limbs start and end, etc.

Of course, they didn't hire ME to design anything, so what do I know.

I think the still shots definatly look alittle busy but in motion Im liking what Im seeing so far. However I agree they should have made Optimus as a cab over engine truck...red and blue.
