Where to get a Limited Slip?

RE: Where to get a Limited Slip?
Straight bolt in, since you have the pony package(which comes with ABS/TCS right?) and has a rear sway bar, it should just pop right in(GTs and V-6s have same sized rear brakes too). Simple hand tools.

How about where the driveshaft connects to the pinion?
Same flange? The V6 rear ends have weights bolted to
them to make them as heavy as an 8.8 rearend without
the weights. Also the stock panhard bar is full of lead shot
that can be beplaced if rear end weight is a factor.

Mustangs unlited has the V6 aftermarketlimited slips new for sale.
28 spline, I believe. The GTs have 31 splines. You would need
31 spline axles if you go the 8.8 GTtakeoff route.

has a limited slip for 200 and it's made for the 7.5 rear end our cars have. while you're at it, you should get gears. i'm planning on gettin 3.73's with my limited slip. installing it at one time will be cheaper. with this kit you'll pay under 500 bucks and no need to swap out your rear end!
now i'm not sure about which one would be better for your car, the 7.5 or the 8.8, but i'm just throwing this out as an option for you. let the guys who actually know their stuff sell you on which one to buy.

The driveshaft bolts on with just screws so I am set there. A GT panhard bar shouldn't be too hard to get either. That's pretty interesting that they actually weigh the v6 down to keep similar rear end weight.
Assuming about 350hp should I go for the 3.37 or 4.10 gears? I've heard the 4.10 gears are way too hard on most cars.
Both setups with instalation should end up costing around $800. The only thing is with the 7.5 vs 8.8 setup a shop would be doing the instal versus me, so that's the advantage to the 7.5.
I've just heard a lot of horror stories about shops installing gears and I know it's very hard to get them right so I'm worried about cracking the diff casing and messing around with anything there.
Changing getting gears is about the same as gettin a diff and messing with that part of the car really is a job.
