Yaa the corasa's are what I'm leaning towards but I want to sc it at somepoint(once I convince my better half its a good idea)so I may have to comprimise [>:] Doesnt seem like much but a couple hundred here or there will make a big difference.

So we are in the research stage for some mufflers... we love the way the car sounds but we just want "a little more"... we'd love a little more grumble (no scary tin can noises!!!)... and do not want "for the love of God" mufflers that someone posted about that are way too loud.... we do not want mufflers that are going to cause other problems with the car.... and we're not going to replace the whole exhaust.

Have any advice?

Thank you so much, in advance,
Ok since your not going to change anything other then the mufflers....I would recommend these http://www.grabthepower.com/extreme-mufflers.html I had these when my full exhaust was stockand I got non-stop compliments on hownice andtuff my car sounded......there is a little drone @2500rpm but it's not enouhg to bother you.......thats my 2cents hope that helps

My only advice is to think carefully when it comes to axlebacks. They are not your only option. There are two systems out there that are not axlebacks - the Loudmouths and the Pypes SFM-66. Of these, the Loudmouths have NO mufflers, andthe SFM-66 has axle-FRONT mufflers.

I have a 05 GT now, first went with the stock mid pipe with mac axle backs but it had lots of drone on the highway & not loud enuff...the 02 had o/r x with magnapacks...so we like it loud. Now going with mac pro-chamber to the stock cats and straight thru, no mufflers, with some ss tips. All I can say is WOW! She sounds mean...and hardly any highway drone...just got back from a 3 hr trip. It's so hard to get the right sound from these cars. The 02 sounded mean as hell...but I love this car to bits....never go back, unless it's a Terminator Cobra.....
