I'd like to try and play my iPod in my car. I know some people use the PIE adapter:

I've seen this one from Peripheral which looks a little easier to hook up:

And then some use the FM modulators, and I've heard nothing good about transmitters so far. Basically, I was wondering who has what and how they like it? Thanks in advance.

The first link does not work.
Neither does the second one.
Get an 07 Shaker takeout and use the aux on it.
It would be cheaper?

I called Peripheral and they no longer recommend their adapter for the 2005 - 2007.. I went with a newAlpine stereo,the CDA 9883. Took the guys a half hour to install it.Total cost was 300.00.. Works perfectly, looks good...

My Shaker is starting to crapout anyway and I'm gonna get it replaced soon under the warranty. CD slot 3 isn't working right. If I can get the tech to install a newer Shaker will they have the AUX input?

Ihave the PIE FRD04 if you want for $25.00 bucks. It worked great but then I bought the Pioneer Avic. Let me know.
