CAUTION, CAUTION,CAUTION, CAUTION............
This THREAD has been "hi-jacked" !!!!!!
DO NOT LISTEN to these "dumb people" !!!!!
YOU can "shorten" your own antenaee, with a pair of "sidecuts", and a small black wirenut.
WHILE taking your time, in determining which "shorty lengthis right" !
Start at 12 ", and GO to the length you LIKE !!! Depending on reception.
HOW hard is that?
DON'T SPEND your $$$$$ on "aftermarket shorties",... Think about that.

Hey Jason, I got it on eBay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2005-...ayphotohosting
See my post above for details.

If you make it to the Woodward meet tonight I will most likely be there so you can take a look at it. You can even try it on your car if you want to. Bring a wrench to remove yours.

[:@]Remember to use some blue locktite on the threads
as the factory did. Maybe it will also keep someone
from casually removing/stealing it without tools. Also
be careful not to twist the mounting base where it goes
thru the fender when tightening up the antenna.[:@]

im pretty sure you unscrew the old antenna and screw the new one in, but i may be wrong
if you're capable of pumping your own gas you can install a shorty...

He's right about that. Especially if you have to bend over a large beer gut.
