Default How easy to replace your own clutch, or tranny, or rear end?

Ok... I have a Ford service manual on CD but I hate those things.

Can a regular person tell me how easy it is to replace a clutch in these stangs? Not mr. has a lift and every tool in the world and was a mechanic for 30 years lol.

Also, I would imagine replacing a tranny would be the same as replacing the clutch, since youre taking the whole tranny out either way... Anyone? Im considering buying and storing away a takeoff tranny in case something happens to mine

Also, Im thinking it might be cool to have 4.10 gears for autocross and race days, but not sure if i want them for regular use. We can't do gears ourselves because of the complexity, or at least shouldnt, but can we do an entire rear end instead? That might be neat to store a rearend with 4.10's for race days...

How hard are these things in your opinions....

You are going to need a lift for this one i think.....it can be done without but i would rather just pay someone to do it i think....to me this is like gears....leave the clutch to the pros......i submitted a link to a clutch install...its in the tech section i believe.
