You gotta hate it when service managers make statements like that!

I have one dash squeak rattle...I intend on having them check it out at my first oil change.

You know, with all the rattles and thunking maybe some of us should hire ourselves out to ride along with prospective Mustang owners! Since we know what to listen for we could then let the saleman know about what problems we found and that the service department needs to fix them before the buyer will take receipt of the Mustang. I would have loved that because I'd rather have these things fixed before I owned my GT. Once I owned mine I became hesitant to allow mechanics to touch my car, seeing how they can put in dents, scratches and such in the paint and leather.
Not to mention how dirty they leave things!

My dash rattles from time to time.

The windshield was also making a creaking noise about a year ago. I took it in to the dealer and they said some binding around the windshield had come loose. They fixed it, but I've heard it faintly a couple times since then.

WHat does the front clunk sound like? Is it when you shift, or is it like a all day noise?
It sounds like a thunk.
It's when you pop a wheelie and the front tires hit back to the ground.
You'll have to buy aftermarket parts and "mod" you Mustang to get rid of it.

My 05 with 12,600 miles has no dash rattles at all.... In fact, I find the interior to be one of the best made interiors I've seen.
You either got a good car, or your previous ones were crap buckets. My interior rattles like the damn thing is 20 years old. I have ridden in three other cars, one 05 and two 06's and all of them had various assorted dash rattles.

As for the front end clunk, I finally fixed mine. Three different trips to Ford in two years, each time replacing a different part and it always came back. I installed a radiator support delete / sway bar delete.. hasn't clunked since.
