Someone had a poll for synthetic oil, but I'm wondering what everyone who is using a synthetic blend is doing?

I normally don't get my oil changes at the dealer. I have a lube place that I have been using for years and I feel I can trust. Now, when I have the oil changed there, they use Castrol 5W-20. I just turned over 15,000 miles and decided to take my car to the dealer for the 15K maintenance, and so while it was there, I had him do an oil change. I notice that the sticker they put for the next oil change said 20,000. I know Ford changed the recommended oil change interval to 5000 miles.

So, here's the question. If you're using a synthetic blend like Motorcraft or some other blend or non-synthetic, how often are you changing your oil?

Not so much the oil but the Filter.

In the past, with cars I knew I was going to keep a long time like the GT, I do/did 3000 miles with Mobil 1. Everything else is 5000. Filters, ANY filter will last that long.
