Default RE: Turning off the Tire Pressure monitor?

ORIGINAL: ZZmustang

And I didn't really mean for all mustang owners to bring there cars in.
If this is a mandate from the Government, Ford should have made a way to shut it off with aftermarket wheels, Ford is the one that the consumer turns to for an answer. Ford could put a censor in for anything that we put on our car that is not factory, Wouldn't that be nice. I don't have a problem with Ford putting a censor in, (for those that are to dumb to see there tire is low on air) I have a problem with , You can't turn it off.
If its required by the Govt., which it is, then no manufacturer, Ford or any other, is allowed to give it a shut-off switch (yet). Remember, most all of these things that the Govt. are forcing upon the cars for "safety" are due to actions of stupid people that don't do things like properly check there tire pressures. You can thank them and the Govt. for this; don't blame Ford.
