Default New 2007 Windveil GT - What to do!!!

I am taking possession of a new 2007 GT next week, and have a little bit of a slush fund for it. What should I do???

I was thinking of a Roush Sport of Stage 1 conversion, but then I was thinking of a Shelby CS8 Turn 1 conversion. At the sametime, I was think of doing a GT500 front and rear fascia changeover (no Cobra emblems!), with the Shelby CS6 Hood. I have seen somep pictures from someone overseas that did it, and it looks great. It's coming with polished 18" Bullitt wheels, so I think I should be okay with those. I want to replace the exhaust with something meaner.I have heard clips of Bassani, and Borla exhaust, and like them both. Which is better?

I am trying to get the dealership to do alot of work, so that I can put some of the work on financing, so I need to decide soon.

Any ideas??

Thanks,

Sean

I say do your own thing, but don't make a Roush or Shelby poser out of it. (oh no...what have I started again....) [:-]

CIA and a CustomTune should be the first mod. It will wake up the car like you can't imagine. It's the best 650 bucks I've spent so far.[8D]

What do you mean by a Roush poser? The dealership I am working with are a certified Roush dealer, and I would have them install the parts. They will even apply for a serial number from Roush.

FlaPony,

I didn't know the CIA had anything to do with Mustangs. I guess they are branching out!

What are your long term plans? I mean.... are you only focused on cosmetics as a priority or would you be interested in MORE POWER....?

FlaPony, you need to fix your "CIA" typo in your signature block as well. Its CAI just in case you havent caught on.

The best thing you can do is .....ENJOY IT!! It's summer!! (Save the time consuming mods for the winter!)

+1 on waitting for the time consuming stuff! Mine spent 5 weeks in shops I almost went insane!

I'd go CAI, tune, and exhaust. Then she'll have a little go. Then once you've had some time to live with her you can mod the body. Kinda wish I would have, but then agian I have no patience
