Used DupliColor High Heat Primer/Color/Clear Enamel on the covers, very satisifed with the resutls

For battery ran 0 Gauge from + terminal to starter/ecu/alternator, ran 4gauge from - terminal to engine block ground, also grounded battery in trunk using 0 gauge to a unused bolt by the exhaust hangers.

My battery sucked before moving it, now my car starts intermitently. Going to get a Yellow top. Also need to install a rear mounted cutoff switch for racing. Some guys did it on mod-ular fords, seems daunting.

I've never had good luck when moving the battery to the trunk. Hopefully you figure out the intermitent start issue.

Now you should try and move the power distribution block and pcm back into corner where the battery was.

Where did you relocate the cam covers to?

The problem with truck batteries has been the ground. I solved this buy running a full length cable , just like the positive , all the way to the engine area.
