Flat Black Scoop/Spoiler and stripe

Flat Black Scoop/Spoiler and stripe
I want to get a hoop scoop and spoiler and have them painted flat black. I also want to get a flat black vinyl stripe in the middle of the hood.
What do I use and what do I do to maintain and detail flat black parts? Also - what do I do with the stripes to care for them (products)- they will be vinyl from BSM.
Also - anyone else know another place I might look for a stripe - single down middle of front with 2 one inch stripes on the side of the middle stripe.
THANKS!!

RE: Flat Black Scoop/Spoiler and stripe
My brand new white GT Spoiler may be up for sale. I'm getting a price this week to have the holes filled and trunklid repainted.
PM me with an offer if you're interested.
Then depending upon the bodywork cost, I'll decide if I'm going to do it.

I have flat black stripes painted on my car. All I do is treat them like normal. The only thing you need to be aware of is to not WAX them. Waxing, over time, will start to make the paint shine.

Does the same go for vinyl stipes? I would probably get flat black vinyl. How do you care for flat black parts (just leave them alone except for washing?)
Saw a Grabber Orange this weekend that had the Roush spoiler and hood scoop in flat black and a flat black stripe down the hood. That is what I want to do except mine is Satin Silver (vert) with a black top. Thought it would look good. Thanks for the feedback.

I would think it would be the same for vinyl. The less you wax it, the longer it will stay flat. As for the painted parts, just wash them as normal. My stripes were done over 4 months ago and they still are flat. I just don't wax them.

RE: Flat Black Scoop/Spoiler and stripe
When I had my vinyls installed it was recommended that I wax them to help against UV damage. Mine are also gloss black, so I want them to stay shiny, but I also want the UV protection to prevent against cracking and unwanted premature damage to the vinyl equipment that I paid for and had installed.
