Default ANNOYING WHEEL SQUEAK!!!

07 GTwith about 1,200 miles on it andALL I can hear (even over my Flowmaster's) is this ANNOYING *** wheel squeak. It's coming from the rear passenger side. WTF do I do to get rid of it???[:@][:@][:@]

I love my car...Just put a CDC Classic chin spoiler on and silverBSM racing stripes...It looks super sharp (IMO)...I have gotten soooo many compliments on it and countless head turns-and- now when I'm cruisin' through town nice and slow - ALL I can hear is - SQUEAK, SQUEAK, SQUEAK, SQUEAK, SQUEAK, SQUEAK, SQUEAK, SQUEAK!!! So damn ANNOYING![sm=headbang.gif]

Please Help Me...

The clutch is in the center of the car, not the right rear

Mine is coming from pass rear as well but it sounds more like 2 metellic objects grinding just enough to hear and mostly under hard accel. I am starting to think maybe my rear rim is grinding on the rear brake caliper. It sounds embarassing[:@]

Wow, thats kinda scary that so many 06/07 owners are having that problem. When I heard a squeak like that, although it was on the drivers rear wheel, it ended up being the rear axle. The dealer replaced it under warranty and no problems since. Is it one that you can definitely tell that its dependent on the wheel speed, slower speed slower oscillating squeak? Cuz thats what mine was. Good luck on getting it fixed though.

05 owner here. I get it to from driver side rear. BUt mine is from the Foose Nitrus rims. Stianless lip on rim. At least thats what GAS says. There pretty good. BUt it is Foose rims and I have had the one changed twice and I would think for the price it wouldnt do that.

WOW - Thanks...Oh wait, could be a bushing, wheel bearing, axle, etc... Plus, I don't think too many people have tire mounting and balancing equipment in their home garage, so I don't think WE are doing something wrong...

In that case you should not have any problem at all quickly finding the source of the squeaks :-)
