shaker 500 acting up

shaker 500 acting up
when i drive around with the volume at half or higher the subs cut out for a few seconds then back on. what's it doing?

Sounds like a bad wire, have the dealer look at it. I got an 07 with the 500 Shaker, mine does not do that.
