Do I really need a mechanic for these mods?

Do I really need a mechanic for these mods?
I am getting K+N cai with Brenspeed xcal, underdrive pulley, slp lm1, andfrpp 4.10 gears. I know I can't do the gears but can I do the rest? If so what kind of tools would I need?

You should be able to do the CAI and tune on your own. I haven't done it yet but I've read about people on here doing it themselves and I've looked it over in anticipation of performing the mods on my own, it doesn't look to difficult. I haven't done the rest but I can't imagine you would need a mechanic for all of it.
Btw, I believe you only need the basic tool kit to change out the CAI.

A CAI and tune is so easy even a therapist can do it. You need a screwdriver.
A UDP can be done, but some people avoid the trouble and take it in for that. You decide. Not sure what tools.
Loudmouths area waste to have installed, as with any axleback. Do it yourself in an hour and save money and a trip. A ratchet and some sockets...
Gears should always be done professionally. Though buying an entire rear-end with them already installed could be done on your own, oh snaps.

...I'm having my UDPs installed at the dealership I work at 'cause I'm too lazy to go hunting around for the correct gear puller, plus it's been raining alot around here and don't feel like getting caught in it...plus I read about some forum member who cross-threaded his crank hub and needs at least a re-threading and at most a new crank, and I can just see myself doing something like that!

With the exception of the gears, you should be able to do the rest yourself. Here's an article explaining how to do the UDPs and the tools you need.

CAI: Simple, even look on K&N's website, shows step by step instructions.
Tuner: simple
Axlebacks: simple. 15mm deep socket for clamps, 13mm socket for hanger brackets, 13mm skinny wrench for the bolts directly above the muffler case(hard to get to),a few extension bars for your wrench. You can slide under the rear on the ground or just drive up on some 2x4s for a little extra space.
Gears? Trained mechanic.
