thank god I can drive
I almost went for the "E" ride the other night. I was grabbing 4th at 100mph on the freeway (showing off for a girl of course like a moron) and the stang's a$$ got really loose. I heard a knock when I got in the throttle and knew something was wrong. It wasn't a grip issue. Luckily I saved it and kept her straight while I slowed down. We put it on the rack today and found the left lca bushing at the body end destroyed. This caused the rear to walk - not fun.
A couple lessons to be had from this sportsfans -
1. leave the goofing off at the track where there's less chance of injury to public and property
2. for those that see the track often, frequent inspections are just as important as maintainence.

Agreed 100% on frequent inspections!
Thanks for the reminder of what can happen when we don't pay attention to detail and glad you were able to keep it undercontrol. Something to be said for knowing what thingsare supposted to sound/act/feel like and knowing what they aren't, and then being wise enough to realize to stop and look and find the problem BEFORE it get worse or cause real damage.
