B AMA VS. BREENSPEED RESULTS
OK, I will post the diferences, actuall #'s dont matter because of all the different dynos, weather etc. I can say that I was wrong on my wild card. Blue Oval Chips was my wild card, and although s.o.p. felt the fastest it was the lowest.
Blue Oval- 284hp and 282tq
Brenspeed- 285hp and 299tq
B ama tune- 294hp and 311tq
All tunes ran once, then re-loaded and ran again to be fair. Seems very low w/my mods, but although corrected, it was 95 degrees, and very humid. Also the shop was set up for imports, so mine ran backward on the dyno compared to how they had the ventilation and cooling set up. On one hand I was pissed at the peak #'s but on the other there was a ton on real # differences, and realized that are cars continue to pull when he shut it down at 6500rpm, which surprised me. The other thing was all tunes ran 13 to 1 air/fuel. Will I pick anything up adding more fuel?, And what is the max you should have your rev. limiter??

RE: B AMA VS. BREENSPEED RESULTS
I saw a thread on another forum asking about tunes and it was mentioned dyno tunes are the best and I dont disagree with that but as was also mentioned in that thread is unless it's a shop that's setup for these cars you have to be sure you can trust the guys in that shop. I would prefer to go with the emailed tune from Brent or Doug rather than go with a more expensive dyno tune from a guy who may or may not know the ins and outs of the s197's.....JMO............Thats a great comparison though, makes me want to consider Doug's race tune if I can convince someone to buy it for me as a present

I would expect a little more maybe ubt you do have 20's so that can account for some loses....the numbers are suprising...i was expecting them to be within a few HP....not 10!
I know, and if you could see the graph the 3-4500rpm range difference is huge, and at the end of the graph the B ama is still pulling, and the others are starting to flatten out!

Unless you did these pulls on the same dyno under identical circumstances, this thread is useless. You can't compare dyno charts from different dynos, days, times, etc. its like apples to oranges.
