For some reason whenever my car is between 1/4 left and E it sounds alot throatier and imo better, just wondering if anyone else felt the same way. sometimes i just drive past the gas station when i should be filling up so i can get that extra sound out of my pipes haha

never really thought about that..but thats prob cause my cars always around 1/2-1/4 full because i never have enough money to fill my tank

i just took my car out for a ride to bring the gas down and it does sound better when there is little gas in it also i noticed that the car sounded better when the engine has warmed up

its because a full tank absorbs sound.

ya it does sound better and louder. My throttle responce is better and the car goes a lil bit faster too. I fill up $50 91 octance every sunday and i dont start flooring it alot till i only have 1/4 of a tank which is 50 miles. By the way i have staright pipes i you wanna hear them go to www.youtube.com/hrair1010also my engine was cold so it was backfiring a little.

They do pop more in cold weather don't they. I haven't noticed. My car is loud all the time.
