Not true. I can see just fine. The slots are angled such that it's almost like they're not even there.

Cons- You can't see out of those windows anymore unless you get the slotted ones, but even then your ability to see is minimal at best.

I was wondering how hard would it be to clean them? What if you get water in the slits is where a way for the water to come out? Do they start to peal off over time?

It was a perfect paint match. They attach with double sided 3M tape. There are two or three places along the louver that do not have tape applied - this is where the water is allowed to leak out. Keeping the louvers clean is easy. Wash them like you wash the rest of your car. Washing the window behind it is as easy as spraying some water (take it easy) through the louvers. The only thing left behind when I wash the windows are a few water spots...but big deal! Mine have not peeled off and do not look like they're going to any time soon. 3M tape is used everywhere these days - it's good stuff. Check them every once in a while, if it looks like it's coming loose, remove them, get some new tape and reapply. I doubt you'll have that problem though. The nice thing about these louvers is that 1.) No drilling! 2.) Tape attaches to glass - not paint. 3.) Decent sized slots at the right angle so that you can easily see out them when looking over your shoulder into your blind spot (unlike some other designs).
Go for it! For a cheap add on, it really changes the look of the car.

I've been looking at the ROUSH ones lately and have been thinking about getting them as well. My only concern is that living in New Jersey, that they will be stolen within a month. They aren't exactly the cheapest thing to replace either.
