Confession of a momentary idiot

RE: Confession of a momentary idiot
Nice!
I stalled my bike yesterday and felt like to total idiot as well.
Never stalled the car but at least I would have the tint to hide my identity.
Don't let it happen again though!

Please be gentle...it hasn't been a good 12 hours for me in the car. But I felt I could trust everyone enough to confess this ("Bless me Ford for I have sinned???").
DOH! #1: Beginning late last night, after coming back from trivia night at the local bar, I was just happy to be driving the Mustang and decided to turn back into a subdivision that connects to mine and just drive the car around for a while. As I come to a stop sign I look around - nobody in sight. "What the hell," I thought, and positioned my feet for a small burnout, which would be my first in this Stang. I get in position....go!... and....NOTHING. WTF? Yup! You guessed it! Forgot to turn the traction control off! (DOH! moment [:@]) Felt so stupid that I didn't even attempt the burnout again, but just sheepishly drove my way home!
In my defense (IMD) #1: The 1998 Mustang I used to own, obviously, didn't have traction control, and the Grand Am that I used to have that did...well, it didn't do burnouts. So, bottom line: not used to a Mustang with traction control.
DOH #2: I'm feeling very under the weather today (I keep looking for the connection between the bar last night, and the sickliness today, but I didn't drink that much), and while sitting in traffic this morning, at a busy intersection, the light turns green, and I ease the clutch out to move forward and, *clunk*...*jerk*...*sputter*...killed it (DOH moment [:@]). At least everyone who was admiring my Stang a moment ago was now laughing at me...it's okay...I was laughing at me too...haha...
IMD #2: Like I said, just not feeling well at all today and just was not with it when the light turned green. Why the hell did I come into work today anyhow? All I've done this morning is played on the MF site.
OK, thanks for listening...please don't flame me too hard...the stars just haven't lined up in my favor lately!
