Hey guys, I couldn't find the thread, so what do you do with the stock hood once you replaced it with an aftermarket hood?

Keep it. It is made of aluminum and will be worth more 20 years from now than your entire vehicle.

I'm planning to have mine custom painted and made into a wall hanging in my game room. I already have my old Cougar hood up!

I sold my Trans Am hood to a junkyard for $100 when I bought my WS6 hood.

I hauled mine out to the street on garbage day, and in about 5 minutes the Mexicans grabbed it to recycle the steel.

+1 on the sled idea.

Alluminum is the most common metal on the planet!

Make a sled! Cant get a speeding ticket on a sled, err I dont think so anyway.
