Are you happy with your car?

RE: Are you happy with your car?
I am very happy with my car.
Almost two years later and I still sneak peeks out the window at it.
It has been fun to modify it, personalize it, improve upon it.
I've never done this with another car beyond stereo's and bumper stickers.
The only complaint is no power passenger seat, which has been fixed for the new models.
It wasn't really my complaint, as I never sit there.
It's up to your wife what she wants, but I don't think she'd ever regret the Mustang.

Well, I considered a 350Z before I bought my GT...And I went with the GT instead for a few reasons.
1) I got a V8 engine that gets up and goes with a LOT of power. That feeling, coupled with the burble of the V8's exhaust, was what sold me over the 350Z.
2) I got a back seat. Doesn't seem like much, but I kinda plan on being able to start a family soon. I can put car seats in the back of a Mustang; they won't work in the 350Z.
3) Insurance in my area was more for the 350Z than for the GT. Not exactly certain why, but whenI spoke with my agent, he quoted me a higher rate. So I went for the GT.
That being said, there are things about the stock GT that I don't like. The handling on it feels brutish; it doesn't want to turn as smoothly as that 350Z did when I took the test drive.
The rear end wants to slide out a LOT easier than some of the other vehicles I've driven. Some of that is due to the suspension, some of it is due to the stickiness of the tires on the car, some of that is due to the RWD nature. For me, most of those things can be solved by suspension mods and different tires, but in my mind the car should handle better than it does...
