Default TPMS in 07+

so i was looking at wheels when i ran into that fun little warning. what is the general solution to the tpms problem? american muscle offered the universal sensors, and mention transfering the ones from my orig wheels.
what are you 2007 owners doing about this? just dealing with the light being on?

you can get new bands so there is no issue with new rims.

Howarmat..do you know how much the new bands and sensors cost by chance? or how much it would cost to get them removed from my stock rims and tires?

The warning light in the cluster does not come on for me. What comes on is the warning message in the display under the speedometer. I simply reach up and push the reset button at the same time as I push the button to disable the TCS.

My shelby rims will be here this week and i don't really plan on taking the old ones out of my current wheels. I'll just deal with the light or try the PVC route and see if that works.

I just push the reset button to clear the warning message upon each start up. Every once and awhile the warning light will come on, but it will go away with the reset button also.

You can buy new bands from Ford for any size wheel up to 24" Transfer your old sensors, and your done. Bands are around $30 each, the sensors are around $55 if you choose to buy new ones.

I reused my sensors and bought new bands of the right size for my new wheels. Luckily someone had bought the wrong size for their car and I picked up the set of four for $50.
