I have a 06 mustang gt does anyone know how to use the ipod with theshaker

the '06's didn't come with the aux port that the '07's have. you're going to have to get an adapter installed for that.

I didnt know the 07'shad an aux port...so I am assuming I will also have one in my 08?

It aint to bad, it is a tad slow at times but still ok.
You install this and you can control your iPod from the shaker,it will display info from the iPod on your shaker display like song artist, etc.
I have my ipod inthe center consoleand just leave it there, it keeps it charged as well.

That looks like a good choice. I want to connect my sansa player. Does it come with multiple connectors for different players or just use the 3.5mm jack?

I have that one and it lasted a week. I took it back and got the H&K and love it. It's like looking at your Ipod screen on your dash. I got it got $99 at best buy . I also got the FRD04-AUX for direct hookup and it sounds great.

I have this hook up and works like a charm. I've had it for a while now and no complaints. Sounds great.

Dude you are screwed. Below I have posted a copy of an email I recieved from peripheral electronics concerning the Ipod connector for the Mustang. The thing works great and then one day for no apparent reason, you start up your car and multiple alarms start pouring in over the dash board. None off the gauges are working,seat belt,air bag,oil pressure, temperature, all sorts of alarms start sounding. Its all because the PE Ipod adaptor fails. I'm in the process of returning mine now. BTW I have the PXDP2 Mustang version.
