Default GT500 brembo brake kit fitment question

Hi there. I'm thinking about upgrading front brakes on my 06 GT due to stock ones overheating on me way too often. Anyways, First I thought about getting the 14" BAER kit that did not include the calipers or the pads. I'm on a budget and I found that one for only 500 bucks, but then I changed my mind after I saw this kit for only 1300 http://www.brothersperformance.com/c...oducts_id/4284
Only thing is I'm not sure if it would work with 18x9 bullitt wheels (check the picture attached). Would i need spacers? BAER has a fitment diagram, but I don't know if I can trust that thing with the cobra brakes and calipers. Also, how good is this kit? If anybody has it, has it madea significant difference on your braking power? I know there's better kits out there, but, unfortunately, I cannont spend over 1500 on brakes. Any help is highly appreciated

Welcome to the forum......

Why are you brakes overheating??

The picture doesnt tell us anything as you need to probably call them up and ask what clearance is needed.. I am going to guess you need spacers but dot know for sure.

Because sometimes I go to highways where I need to slow down from 90mph to 30mph every 15-20 seconds and that's when it happens. Not that it's not normal or anything, but that's how I know stock ones won't cut it... I'll probably get in touch with Ford to see if they will fit. How good are those though?

Seems like I MIGHT need spacers there. There's a post where they used 18x8.5 rims and got away with 1/25" spaces which means it might be fine with 18x9's....I hope I'm right
