RE: Hood Pins (options)
I am going to be adding these to my website next week. They are not cheap (roughly $120 pair) and the install is not for beginners but if you have any mechanical skills and take your time to measure, you will be fine.
They are they coolest pins I've ever used and it's the first thing people ask me about when they are looking at my car.
FYI:
locking and non locking versions, no lanyards to scratch paint or pins to loose, composite construction which prevents fading pitting and rusting, paintable.

Sorry, I'm PC illiterate today.
Is there plastic over the cables? Any issues with scratching?

RE: Hood Pins (options)
I could not get the Aerolatch link to work. I found these diagrams from a Google search:
http://www.ecph.com/part.cfm?subcatId=181
http://www.amidata.es/componentes-el...VER-LATCH.html
If these are the same latch, I don't care for them.
I have the Ford Racing pins. Yes they were too short by 1/2 inch. I made little standoff brackets to mount them to, but I've heard others getting a threaded extension welded on (possibly the better option). The plastic-coated cables do not seem to rub too bad. I do see a little bit of scuffing (12k miles), but I probably do not wax the car enough--which may help??
