There is actually a photo of a tan Mustang with the wood interior on this site that looks pretty good. You can find it with a search. It definitely doesn't work with the red and black interior.
I just did mine in double brushed aluminum tonight and posted it in the appearence section. I think it matches the factory interior upgrade very well.

if you had black or tan leather, it might work... but that certainly clashes like hell with red, black, silver, and wood all together.
nice photoshop though, that looks like it took some time

thanks for all the replies... haha I wasn't expecting to get any!
the more i look at it the more it grows on me... NOT with the red interior, but i think it actually might look good with black or tan.
I saw someone's on this site with a tan interior as "wmtheflash" suggested and it looked pretty good, it didn't have any interior upgrades though. I would be curious to see what it would look like up against the tan interior and have the aluminum trim... i might just photoshop that too when i get bored again. =/

It could look good like everyone said above... but I also think the wood doesn't work with the black/silver steering wheel, if the steering wheel was all wood or just got rid of the silver it would look a lot better, err less tacky...
