I've had my stripes on my car for 3 months and they are doing the same thing, I may have to call him in the morning if I still have his phone number.

I asked Rob about producing a set of stripes for the hood that were cut out around the outside edge of the hood scoop. I saw a Shelby GT in the dealer's showroom that was cut that way... it didn't look too bad. Rob said no one else has complained about the bunching. I gave up on Rob and just went ahead and added the weatherstriping as he suggested. It didn't stop it so I just gave up on ever getting it fixed.

thanks for resurrecting this thread sonic. I was going to order a scoop over the weekend, but after reading this thread, I have scrapped that idea. You may have prevented me from going postal over the holidays!

Mine started almost immediately. I was told that mine was doing it because I drive 130-150 mph on a regular basis and the factory scoop was not designed for the high amount of pressure that results. Glad to see it wasn't just me.

i can't get a hold of Rob, but I'd really like to know how the stripes are pre-cut for the Roush scoop, I wouldn't want a big gap in the front of it[:-]
